When I posted on X that only males such as Zeus or Odin become truly powerful because they renunciate love, half the internet pummeled over me with community notes saying I was wrong. I conclude that the majority of the critical commenters were men who are deeply in love with their mothers, and they cannot imagine being powerless because of it.
But they are. To soothe themselves, the intellectual babies counter-argumented that Odin was married to Frigg and he made love to Jord to create Siegfried, or that Zeus slept around with tons of females, even raping them. It's as though my detractors thought renunciating love meant for a man to become a sterile homo uninterested in women.
